A beer production plant needed to replace failed Foxboro positioners installed on diaphragm three-way control valves. The existing valve body was still in usable condition, so the customer wanted a replacement solution without changing the complete valve assembly.
The main challenge was mechanical compatibility. The original positioner mounting structure was different from the POWERFLOW replacement unit, and the customer needed a reliable installation solution that could fit the existing valve and actuator on site.
POWERFLOW performed on-site measurement and provided a customized mounting bracket according to the existing valve structure. The replacement positioner was installed smoothly on the original valve assembly, helping the customer restore valve control without replacing the valve body.
