Our products are mainly selected according to valve type, mounting method, and explosion-proof requirements.

  • 1 Series: Suitable for top-mounted valves such as angle seat valves, diaphragm valves, and T-type valves.
  • IP Series: Suitable for single-seat valves, butterfly valves, and ball valves.
  • IP6000: Intrinsically safe explosion-proof type.
  • IP6000d: Flameproof explosion-proof type.

For accurate selection support, please contact our sales team.

The selection depends on the actuator type of your valve.

  • Single-acting positioner: Used for single-acting pneumatic actuators, usually with spring return.
  • Double-acting positioner: Used for double-acting pneumatic actuators, where air is supplied to both sides of the actuator.

In simple terms, choose the positioner type according to whether your valve actuator is single-acting or double-acting.

If you are not sure, please share the actuator nameplate or valve photos with our sales team for selection support.

Our valve positioners support 4–20mA analog signal as the standard control signal.

  • IP6000 / IP6000d: Optional HART communication is available.
  • IP6500: Supports PROFIBUS PA fieldbus communication.

If your project has specific communication requirements, please share the control system or project specification with us for confirmation.

After installation, connect the air supply and 4–20mA signal to the positioner.

  1. Press and hold the “▶” button for 3 seconds to enter the menu.
  2. Select “INITA”.
  3. Press and hold the “●” button for 3 seconds.

The positioner will automatically detect the valve stroke, direction, and optimize control parameters.

When the display shows “FINISH”, press the “●” button to exit.

Some models also support one-key auto tuning by pressing and holding the “O” button for 3 seconds.

Valve position oscillation is usually caused by one or more of the following factors:

  • Unstable air supply pressure
  • Pipeline or valve vibration
  • Dead zone setting too small
  • Excessive actuator friction
  • Control gain set too high

We recommend performing automatic tuning again and checking the air supply quality and mechanical condition of the actuator.

If the issue continues, please contact our technical support team with valve and actuator details for further analysis.

It depends on the selected fail action configuration.

  • Fail-safe: The valve returns to the preset spring position after power failure.
  • Fail-freeze: The valve remains at the position where the power failure occurs.

The default configuration is fail-safe unless otherwise specified.

IP6000 and IP6000d can also support fail-freeze function under power failure, air failure, and signal failure conditions.

Please confirm your fail action requirement before ordering.

Our valve positioners are certified for various international industrial and hazardous area requirements.

  • SIL3 Functional Safety Certification
  • ATEX Intrinsically Safe and Flameproof Certification
  • IECEx International Explosion Protection Certification
  • CE Certification
  • EAC Certification
  • RoHS Compliance

The IP6000 Series meets both SIL3 and ATEX Ex ia IIC T6 requirements, making it suitable for most chemical, oil & gas, and industrial automation applications worldwide.

Please contact us if you need specific certification documents for your project.

You can submit your project requirements through our website contact form or contact our sales team directly by email.
