An LNG receiving station needed to replace the original Flowserve valve positioners installed in the LNG storage area.
The existing Flowserve single-seat control valves were still in service, but the original positioners showed a high failure rate, which affected process production stability.

POWERFLOW supplied replacement smart valve positioners for the existing Flowserve single-seat control valves.
The solution allowed the customer to replace the original Flowserve positioners while keeping the existing valve bodies in service. POWERFLOW provided a practical replacement approach suitable for the LNG storage area application.
The replacement solution helped reduce the impact of frequent positioner failures on process production.
Since installation in July 2024, the POWERFLOW units have been put into service and have been operating well on site.
